The CatGenie Scented SaniSolution SmartCartridge dispenses the exact amount of cleaning solution needed to clean the Granules and GenieBowl and to keep the CatGenie running properly. One Cartridge lasts for 120/240 washes depending on setting. The CatGenie Washable Granules will never need replacement but you will need to add additional granules when the level of the granules falls below the line on the bowl.
